The video begins with an extreme close-up of a music box and gradually fades out to reveal what it is. The scene then cuts to a trombone shot of two men, smartly dressed looking almost identical sitting on a sofa with a bright light shining on them. As the camera slowly moves in on them the lights turn off and a woman is lit up in the back behing them. The light hehind them begins to flicker on and off just before the lyrics begin. The two men then become in a close-ups
hot as they begin to sing. Then the shot skips to almost the same scene but of two different men, this time not so smartly dressed but again almost identical. In the background the woman isn't shown but instead there is a man. The shot again changes to the previous one and a shot-reverse shot takes place. The woman begins dancing in the background and the light continue to flicker. In between the shot changes there is a short scene which is more close-up of the woman but blurred, almost as if the audience aren't meant to see her face. There are also extreme close-ups of the music box which is gold and silver. After this scene the scene moves back to the first original scene of the first two men, apart from the woman isn't present instead there is another man who looks puzzled. After this there is another blurred extreme close-up shot of someone writing and a tea cup. The shot again cuts to a poole table where people are playing. There is then an extreme close-up of a badly wounded hand and a man lying on the floor.
There is then a a scene with lots of lights, glitter and tinsel surrounding one of the band members playing the guitar. This image changes as different band members replace each other including all the guitarists and the drums. The whole of the band are then shown up on a stage singing to a cround of people. The design is very old fashioned throughout the video. The camera slowly moves out onto the audience. Each band member is shown individually in a medium close-up outside surrounded by studio lights.
There is then a man sitting on the original sofa with the woman dancing behind him, the two first men are then seated back down with the lights flickering as the camera zooms in towards them. The second pair of men are then seen sitting on the sofa as the camera pulls out away from them.
